About Brian Huckstep, CFA, CFP®
I have been in the investment industry for 30 years. I have spent the majority of my career working with large pools of combined investment funds - with corporate 401k's, insurance investment accounts, target date mutual funds, and target risk mutual funds - typically between $1 billion and $40 billion in size. During that time, I have also enjoyed helping friends and family with their personal investments and financial planning. In 2020, I decided to go independent and work with individuals, families, and small businesses. I founded Huckstep Asset Management, LLC to manage investments and provide financial planning and advice.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with my Bachelor's Degree in 1992. I graduated from the University of Chicago with my MBA in 2003. I passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam in 2004 and the CFP exam in 2021.
